Sisterhood emerged to address the challenges Black women face with their hair

We are three Black women, and like many of you, we've felt the weight of our unique hair challenges. Through conversations with hundreds of other Black women, we saw firsthand the costly gamble of navigating a market crowded with generic advice and products.

Here’s a jarring truth: Over half of Black women grapple with hair loss, yet the topic remains shrouded in stigma and silence. Couple that with the fact that a mere 3% of U.S. dermatologists are of African descent, and the support seems distant.

Enter Sisterhood.

Guided by insights from hundreds of women, powered by technology and community, we're on a mission to demystify and destigmatize hair loss. We connect Black women to trusted dermatologists, equip them with factual resources, and champion products with integrity. This is about real, tailored solutions, not just labels.
